When young Lucian and his mother Alina leave Romania for Sicily in search of a better life, they find themselves in a world far from the dream they were promised. While Alina throws herself into the demanding work of the greenhouses, Lucian tries to find his place among unfamiliar faces; discovering friendship, rivalry, and unspoken secrets along the way.
