The short film Stephanie by Leonardo van Dijl has won the Ensor for Best Short Film. The Ensors are the annual Flemish film prizes. A three-headed professional jury, consisting of Bülent Öztürk (Houses With Small Windows and Blue Silence), Britt Raes (Catherine) and Kristof Bilsen (Mother) selected nine short films from eighty submitted projects. Motivation by the jury: "We chose films that transcend the purely narrative in their storytelling, films in which the visual language and the sound tell the entire story. We were touched by films that combine visual beauty with authenticity, innovation and poetry."
